Crisis Communication

Members of the Strategic Communications team, along with university police and university leaders, are responsible for managing and communicating information during emergencies or critical situations. We work to ensure that the campus community is informed and safe by providing timely and accurate updates through various communication channels. Our goal is to protect the university’s reputation and maintain trust by being transparent and responsive during challenging times.

The Wake Alert website contains emergency notifications and information about alert methods, reporting and preparedness.
