Digital Service Requests
We’re Here to Help!
Our team provides several services to the Wake Forest campus community, which can be requested below. Depending on the service you are requesting, part or all of your request may be transferred to the Advancement Information Technology (AIT) team to complete.
Please allow up to 3-5 business days for a response.
If you have an urgent request, make sure you indicate that in the form and provide as much information as possible so that we can work with you on meeting your deadline.

WordPress Plugin Request
We have plugins available to help with different ways to handle content, you can request a new or existing plugin. If you are requesting a new plugin, please describe your goal(s) and what you want the plugin to accomplish so we can evaluate what plugin would perform best.
For security, compatibility, and performance concerns, we will need to evaluate the plugins according to our Third-Party Plugin Policy.
General Web Requests
New Site Request
Requests for a third-level wfu.edu domain (i.e., your-department.wfu.edu) requires approval from the University’s TLD Approval Board.
The University has an established policy of allocating a single third-level wfu.edu domain to University schools, departments and other functional units. Sub-units are generally required to use a fourth-level domain under an existing third-level domain.
URL Redirect
If you are looking to redirect a URL on your own site, you may be able to do it with the redirects plugin. If that does not apply and you still need an existing URL pointed to a new destination, complete this form and list all URLs with their redirect destinations.
WFU GO Link
If you would like to create a generic or custom shortened URL for a webpage on your site. (i.e. go.wfu.edu/Description)
Campus Directory Update
If you want to request a new addition or provide an update for an existing Wake Forest office, department, or property listed on the university’s Campus Directory page.
If you have questions about information showing in people directories (WIN, peoplesearch.wfu.edu or Workday), please open a ticket at help.wfu.edu.
Recommended Search Result
Recommended search results appear first on the wfu.edu Google search results page. Requests should be limited to priority or high profile pages on your site.
Recommended search results will not appear on Google or any other search engine.
Campus Map Update
Updates to the interactive campus map are made periodically throughout the year. If your request needs to be addressed in a timely manner, please make a note of that in the form.
