News and Public Relations
What We Do
The News and Public Relations team creates content that connects the Wake Forest story with external audiences, including the media, and it produces articles and announcements to keep the Wake Forest community informed. The team handles major University messaging, making sure it aligns with our institution’s goals and values.
The News and Public Relations portfolio includes:
- Wake Forest News: Highlighting the best of Wake Forest’s stories, this site shares the University’s accomplishments with the world.
- Inside WFU: The site encourages communication and promotes community among faculty and staff. Items also are shared through the weekly Inside Wake Forest newsletter.
- Media Relations: We are the first point of contact for reporters and help the media by facilitating interviews, connecting with faculty experts or providing interesting story ideas. Our team also offers a variety of communications resources for Wake Forest students, faculty and staff.
